Dr. Hai-Feng (Frank) Ji is a professor in the Department of Chemistry at Drexel University. In addition, Professor Ji is an affiliated faculty member of the College of Engineering's Department of Materials Science and Engineering. Professor Ji’s research interests focus on plasma chemistry, drug discovery, MEMS devices, nanomaterials for energy and environmental applications, nanopillars and phosphene for energy applications, and surface chemistry. Dr Pegah Varamini is a Chief Investigator, Senior Lecturer and Group Leader within the School of Pharmacy. She is the head of Breast Cancer Targeting & Drug Delivery (BCTDD) Group, supervising a team of researchers, conducting multiple interdisciplinary projects. Dr Varamini was one of the four awardees of the prestigious National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) fellowship and grant in Jan 2016. She is the inventor of a peptide-based targeting strategy, through a "Trojan Horse" approach, for treatment of Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC), an unmet medical challenge.
